Eqvalan Gold Paste

Eqvalan Gold is an oral broad-spectrum worm treatment for horses. The formula comprises ivermectin and praziquantel to offer comprehensive worm coverage for equines. This composition is known to treat and control a variety of worm infestations including tapeworms, roundworms, large and small strongyles, pinworms, hairworms, ascarids, neck threadworms, threadworms, large-mouth stomachworms, lungworms and bots.

Eqvalan is an effective treatment for use in summer sores caused by cutaneous third-stage larvae of Habronema spp. and Draschia megastoma and dermatitis caused by neck threadworm. It is indicated for use in horses of all age groups including pregnant mares and breeding stallions.

Mode d'emploi

Unlock the knurled ring by rotating to 1/4 turn to the left and slide it along the plunger shaft to set the barrel at required weight marking.
To lock the plunger in place, rotate the plunger ring 1/4 turn to the right.
Remove the cap from the syringe and insert the syringe tip into horse mouth at the interdental space and depress the plunger until stopped by the knurled ring.
Ensure the entire dose should be deposited on the back of the tongue and raise the horse’s head for a few seconds to make sure the complete dose is ingested.

Dosage :

Administer Eqvalan Gold Paste orally using a disposable syringe.
The standard recommended dosage is 200 µg of ivermectin and 1 mg praziquantel every 2.2lbs(1kg) of body mass.
Each mass marking on the syringe plunger dispatches enough paste to treat 220lbs (100kg) body mass.
One syringe contains enough paste to treat one 132lbs (600kg) horse.

Mares: Regular dosing at 6-8 week intervals during summer and autumn
Stallions: Administer at least twice a year
Foals: Treat at 6-8 week intervals

Sécurité

Not recommended in animals under 6 months of age
Avoid slaughtering horses for human consumption within 14 days of recent treatment
Treat all pregnant mares with the usual additional care
Keep away from reach of children, uninformed persons and animals.
