Equimec Plus Tape for Horses

Equimec Plus Tape is a broad-spectrum worm control formula for horses that kills all the important internal parasites in horses. This multi-worm treatment is indicated for the treatment and control of adult and immature roundworms. It controls various species of Large Strongyles (adult and arterial larval stages) and Small Strongyles (including benzimidazole-resistant bloodworms), tapeworms, bots and skin lesions (summer sores) caused by habronema and Draschia spp. and Onchocerca spp. (cutaneous onchocerciasis).

This low-dose formula effectively controls Pinworms, Hairworms, Large Mouth Stomach Worms, Neck threadworms, Bots, Lungworms and Intestinal Threadworms. Regular treatment with Equimec Plus Tape reduces the chances of verminous arteritis and colic caused by S. vulgaris. Equimec Plus Tape comes in an easy-to-use trigger applicator for simple and quick administration. It may be used in horses of all ages including mares and stallions.

Mode d'emploi

Administer Equimec Plus Tape orally.
Turn the dosage control knob to coincide with the horse’s bodyweight.
Insert the syringe into the side of the horse’s mouth in the gap between the front and back teeth.
Press the plunger to the selected dosage and deposit the treatment on the rear of the tongue.
Raise the horse’s head immediately for a few seconds after dosing to ensure the full dose has been swallowed.

Posologie :

Equimec Plus Tape should be given at the recommended dose level of 1 ml/40kg weight.
Each dose of 1 ml/40kg bodyweight dispenses 0.2 ml/kg of Ivermectin and 2.5mg/kg of Praziquantel.
The contents of a syringe will treat one horse at 1320 lbs (600kg) weight.
Each weight marking on the syringe plunger delivers 2.5g of paste which is enough to treat 100kg weight.

Sécurité

Mares may be treated at any stage of pregnancy.
Stallions may be treated without adversely affecting their fertility.
Do not treat horses less than 28 days before slaughter for human consumption.
Do not use in any other animals intended for human consumption.
Dispose of the empty syringe by wrapping in paper and putting in the garbage.
Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.
Poisonous if swallowed. Contact a doctor in case of poisoning.
